Sales:

Used and refurbished Merchandise: All sales are FINAL. Returns and / or refunds will NOT be granted for any used merchandise. There is no warranty period for used merchandise, unless otherwise specified, and agreed upon during the time that the transaction is finalized. Some used PC systems may already contain Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, or other software programs that have been pre-installed by previous owners. The purchaser of these PC systems, and NOT TOTL Computing, assumes all responsibility of any and all installed Microsoft operating systems or other software programs. Although TOTL Computing reformats all used PC systems before resale, TOTL Computing will not be held responsible for any said software, data, or data fragments left on the PC hard drive or other media by the previous owner(s).

New Merchandise: Refunds are granted for a period of 10 days. A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns, for any reason, with the exception of defective merchandise, (shipping, all services including labor, and Software purchases are non-refundable). All Merchandise must be returned in a re-sellable condition (all parts, manuals, cords, etc.), and in original packaging in order to qualify for a refund. All New Merchandise comes with a warranty that is provided by the manufacturer, unless otherwise specified.

Trade-In allowances: Although TOTL Computing does not buy any used or new equipment from the public, when purchasing a new DELL Personal Computer system, or DELL Business system; you may opt to trade in your old computer system towards the purchase price of the new one.

Special Merchandise Orders: All special merchandise orders are non-returnable, and must be paid for in advance before special merchandise orders are made.

Services:

Labor – Offsite (our location): $80.00 per hour, rounded to the nearest hour.
Labor – Onsite (your location): $80.00 per hour, rounded to the nearest hour, plus ½ drive time.
Flat fee procedure services, and all other services, please call for rates, or see below summerized rates.

Credit:

Credit will NOT be extended to anyone unless the applicant is a local business with a valid business license. A Federal TAX Identification number and credit check is required to qualify***. Payments must be made within 30 days of purchase, otherwise a service charge of 2.0% per month (24% APR) will be applied to your account on any remaining balances, minimum charge $5.00 per month

Layaway:

If you are interested in laying away a new PC, or a used PC, a down payment of at least 20% of the purchase price is required. Payment of remaining balance must be made within 90 days of said sale is required, otherwise TOTL Computing will refund amount paid minus a 15% cancellation fee. Once cancelled, the sale is void. Remaining balances after 30 days are subject to a service fee of 2.0% per month (24% APR), minimum charge $5.00. Cancellation of layaway – TOTL Computing will refund paid amount, minus a 15% cancellation fee.

Payment Methods:

Payment is due at time of completed services. Personal Computers, Printers, and other computer related peripherals will be held at TOTL Computing until all payments are collected. TOTL Computing reserves the right to sell, dismantle, or otherwise dispose of any said Personal Computers, Printers, and other related peripherals, equipment or parts left at TOTL Computing, in which services have not been paid for after 45 days. Cash and personal checks (or business checks) are acceptable payment methods. We cannot accept two party checks, money orders, or credit / Debit Cards. All payments must be made at the store location, unless other payment options have been arranged prior to the service being completed. There will be a $25 returned check fee, plus any other bank fees that are charged to TOTL Computing for returned checks.

Privacy:

At TOTL Computing, we respect your privacy. However, in the course of daily business, TOTL Computing may request and collect personal information from you during any transaction. Personal information may include your name, address, and telephone number, as well as other information pertaining to you, or to your personal computer. TOTL Computing will not rent, sell, or otherwise make available this information to anyone for any reason other than by court order or subpoena, or similar legal request or otherwise, on the advice of counsel. However, TOTL Computing reserves the right to use the information that it collects for its own use, such as mailing lists, or internal reports.

Confidentiality:

In the course of daily business, TOTL Computing staff members may review data (files, pictures, databases, videos, etc.) that is located on your computers hard drive. TOTL Computing will make every effort possible to keep this information confidential, and will not disclose, nor make available to any third party, or any other person or entity, for any reason other than by court order or subpoena, or similar legal request or otherwise, on the advice of counsel. Non-disclosure agreements are available upon request, if your business requires such agreements.

Bench Fee - $20.00 (Minimum Fee)
Diagnostics - $30.00
Data Backup - $25.00
Data Recovery - $55.00 and up
PC Disposal - $50.00
Virus and Spy ware removal, security updates from Microsoft, and included diagnostics - $60.00 - 100.00.
Re-installation or Initial Installation of any Microsoft Windows Operating System (licensed, valid, legitimate product keys only), Anti Virus and Anti Spy ware software installation, security updates from Microsoft, and included diagnostics -$80.00.

Piracy:

At TOTL Computing, we do not condone software piracy. TOTL Computing will NOT sell, make illegal copies of, make available to any other party, or install any Microsoft Software or any other brand or make of software that is in violation of the respective publishers End User License Agreements.

Computer Repair Service Agreement

Fees & Returns:

All service orders are subject to a minimum $25 service fee once it reaches a technician's bench regardless of the state of repair or outcome of the diagnosis. This fee will not be assessed if the part is under any manufactures warranty.

All part purchases are final.

Data:

Customer is responsible for data backup before repair.

TOTL Computing is NOT responsible for data loss for any reason including:

              a.    In the event of a computer failure while in service.

              b.    In the event the hard drive is formatted to repair the operating system software.

              c.    In the event the media that data was being transferred to is found to be faulty.

TOTL Computing is NOT responsible for the condition of the data transferred / recovered before or after diagnostics and repair.

We reserve the right to erase the computer's hard drive to ensure proper repair of the unit by eliminating software as a variable whenever it is deemed necessary.

We are NOT responsible for viral infections of the unit or any security compromises to the unit, including compromises due to weak passwords after the date of repair.

Software:

Software errors, data recovery / transfer, or corruption that causes poor performance or loss of functionality of the computer is NOT covered by ANY manufacturer's warranty.

TOTL Computing does not support any applications or software except for Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.

Customer is responsible for determining application compatibility with any operating system they've enlisted TOTL Computing to install or upgrade to.

Security:

Customer is responsible for updating definitions to antivirus software and applying security patches to the operating system after the date of repair on the unit.

TOTL Computing is NOT responsible for viral infections of the unit or any security compromises to the unit, including compromises due to weak passwords after the date of repair.

Equipment:

TOTL Computing is NOT responsible for equipment left in service for over three months from the time of the unit's exit out of service, regardless of the state of repair.

TOTL Computing is NOT responsible for notifying you, the customer; in the event your equipment is being disposed of when said equipment has been here for over 3 months.

All equipment must be picked up within 30 days of completion or a $50 per month fee will to be added to the cost of Service Repair Order.

TOTL Computing is NOT responsible for the condition or failure of hardware prior to, during, or after repair.

TOTL Computing is authorized to retain any equipment brought in for service until full payment is collected and processed.

TOTL Computing is authorized to perform diagnostic and repairs in accordance with our necessary standard procedures.
